This 5" x 7" note card is inspired by the Zentangle® method of pattern drawing, which uses simple strokes in a mindful way to create small works of art, and is an original hand-drawn design. The lighthearted drawing features a combination of geometric and organic patterns (called tangles), all drawn in black ink on a crisp white background, with colorful ribbons separating each tangle. A charming card for any occasion and for any recipient, from Uncle Bob’s birthday to a welcome to the neighborhood card for the folks next door. For this drawing I used 13 tangles: Crescent Moon, Therefore, Printemps, Floors, Chartz, Msst, Tipple, Mooka, Crazy Huggins, Yumemi, Shattuck, Ikshana, and Alabastro.
